Santa's Elf has been busy this morning.

I figured I would go ahead and unbox and assemble the little Coleman CT200U Mini bike. I am pretty happy with the quality of this unit. I looks great and seems to be well made. I love the big tires, engine (I'm a fan of these Chinese 6.5 Honda Clones) and jack shaft set up. I got it all put together, added oil, gas, and it fired right up on the second pull. The valves were really noisy so I immediately shut it off and popped open the valve cover to adjust. They were REAL loose. Now when we used to race these motors we ran the valve lash at ZERO. I figured this motor will not be raced or any such craziness so I set the last @ .003". It quietened down nice and I'll just have to keep an eye on it as it breaks in. It rides great and has plenty of torque to carry my 200lb butt quickly down the drive way. You know I couldn't resist a quick run :D. I like it a TON better and the quality is alot better than the mini bike kit I built years ago from old mini bike warehouse. And the thing was WELL worth the 399.00 dollar black friday price we gave for it. Shoot Daddy may have to just get him one and maybe put a 212cc Harbor Freight Predator motor on it, with just a few minor modifications :clap

The Mini Bike and engine are manufactured by Chongqing Huansong Science and Technology Industrial Co. LTD. AKA: HiSun
In case anyone was wondering

Nice Bike :tup:Reminds me of a mini bike my brother and I put together when I was about 13. We put our money together and went to Sears a bought a 5hp Briggs. We had to remove the spark plug to fit it on the frame. 1st thing we did was got rid of the governor. We would piss off my cousin when we pass his Honda Trail 70 up. :lmao: Now I'm telling my age.

I saw those for sale at KMart last week. They have been pretty rare for awhile.

monkey bike

They probadly had to pass the epa testing... they have them for sale in Canda for around the $350.00 price... the small motor really makes your body pound because it is a small single cyclinder a larger motor upgrade would be nice... on these bike you have to check the oil when you set it up,... the atvs and other stuff comes with the oilll but NOT ON THESE.. I picked up ( 2 ) of the BAJE bikes .. they are larger and better than these $$$ will fix them up in th e spring.... winter here now.... no snow yet... crazy... usually about 1 ft or so

I always wanted one of those Baja bikes. But too little too late as they are no longer available. I liked that they actually had front suspension. As far as a motor upgrade on the Coleman? It already has the same 196cc engine the Baja Monsters came with. I rode it today, it has plenty of power. And if need be I have a bucket of old left over Kart racing parts that I can wring 12-13hp out of that engine. :yay: I'm seriously thinking of getting one for myself. I may look around for a used Baja.

Oh wow, yeah for that price I would have just added a few dollars and bought an Apollo dirt bike or something. That Massimo SxS looks pretty dog gone nice. How much is a comparable SxS from the big 5?

7500 too rich for me. Good if you had a use for one such as in a gold mine;).

24 hp efi 4x4 , winch and digital gagues , right handy.
