Hi everyone. New to Chinese motorcycles. I have a Templar X 250 on the way from Powersports Max. I'm excited but a little nervous as well. Hoping the quality stands up. I just want to ride some fire roads and trails with my 16 year old son. I'm a bigger dude, 6'5" 280lbs, so I hope it works out. I like fixing up bikes and adding aftermarket parts but don't know what Japanese bike the templar matches up with. If anyone knows please let me know. Excited to learn more from all of you. Welcome! I'm in WA too (Vancouver). The X was the right way to go with your height. I'm 205 and had to up my preload a few turns but the suspension units that come with the bike are pretty darn good and should still work well for you. Enjoy!
