Taotao lancer150 stalling after refill

Howdy all!
So, I just got my plates for my new ride, and I decided to finally leave my neighborhood. My first bike ever, and aside from the intensity of people tailgating and potholes, I've never been so in love.
To my issue;
I ran through a half tank of gas and decided to fill her up(super premium citgo)
And as soon as I tried to start her back up, she kicked, then bogged down.
I tightened the throttle tensioner screw a bit, then gave her a bit of juice as I tried the starter, and she fired up. However, she stalled at stop signs until I'd gotten up to about 40mph, then no issues all the way home.
I overfilled the tank slightly, and I've read that that could be a problem, but I'm new to all of this and just wanted to check with y'all.
Sorry if this isn't the right place for this post, I am also new to forums.
Thanks!

Unclear what the specific issue may be?

Might try adjusting the carb idle speed screw, and adding around 3 tablespoons of Iso-Heet to the gas tank.

Carb cleaning is complicated by tamper-resistant fuel bowl fasteners, and a plug over the low-speed mixture screw. Sometimes a pulse of compressed air into the inlet fuel line is effective.

Generally GY6 engine troubleshooting should begin with checking valve clearance.

Check that sparkplug cap "clicks" on, ignition coil connections are snug, exhaust system fasteners are tight, and the screw in the metal fuel drain fitting has not backed out.

Performance ignition components and inlet air filters are a waste of money. Save yourself a lot of aggravation, and keep everything stock . . except perhaps experimenting with variator weights.

Replaced the spark and adjusted the throttle a wee bit, and she's firing up great today.
Thank you for the advice! I think I'll replace the drive belt, but otherwise, if it ain't broke I ain't gonna fix it.
Checking out the link you posted now.

Are you familiar with the site http://49ccscoot.proboards.com/ Don't let the name fool you--they discuss scooters of all sizes. Lots of discussion on fixing and repairing. Both of these sites are great, but that one is more scooter oriented. And, yes, there is room for both.

Baja X250 owner NEEDS HELP!!!!

Good after noon in new to the Chinese bikes and have a few questions. I’ve recently picked up a Baja X250 used. It didn’t come with any plastices or seat but it runs great. I’ve searched high and low looking for plastics that fit. It came with one side panel that I’ve been referring too. I can’t seem to find anything that looks close to it. So if anyone knows were I can find these plastics at or some that will fit please let me know.

Go to the dirt section and start a new thread there. You will get a better response! Good luck on your search! :)
