Suzuki Releases an RX3 clone

I read that Suzuki will release a bike very similar to the RX3 in Austrailia. Sorry that I do not have a link, but there is a short report and pics on NewAtlas, com
The Suzy makes the same horsepower as the RX3, but the engine is a twin cylinder job.

They are made by a joint venture in China. In the US we already have the GW250 and GSXR250, so I couldn't see why the dual-sport couldn't come our way.

Pitster Pro GPX is working on the 500 ADV style bike, just released this brand/Bike in China under a different name of course

I would like to see some of those "Suzuki/Haojue" 125 and 150's in the States, shouldn't be too hard, they are already passing EURO III emissions... shouldn't be that hard to get Cali and the EPA to pass the bikes for road use

So, what does one of these Suzmahakis cost? I see several advantages, but not really worth a whole lot if the package does not work as well in the whole as the RX3.

AU report & price.

Comes with no luggage, does have a rack to take a box.

Exhaust pipes run underneath the engine where the catalytic converter also resides (just a bit lower than the frame).

"will hit Australian shores in September at a very affordable price of AU$7,190."

Okay. AUS$7190 = US$5107. Then add in all the extras, such as luggage, shipping, dealer prep, ... . Apparently, the plain weewee-Strom is 30 pounds heavier than the RX3 with included accessories, and the RX3 already pushes the limit for me on the dinky soft roads I often find myself on. No deal.

The motor looks Honda CB 300/500 knock off. Very similar to my cb500x.
