Old Ohio guy
Chris in Ohio here. Don't have a bike yet but very tempted to get aTDR7. Have had A few bikes in my life but never really got into them. First and favourite was TS250 in the late 80s. My mechanical skills were not very refined at the time. Now in my middle age I would kinda like a dual sport type bike again and these are in the price range I am willing to spend. I have raced a kart in the clone class so a little familiar with clone china stuff. Just want something to putz around town on and ride trails up at my camp.

Welcome aboard Chris. There's a wide section of Dual sports that will fit your needs. Search around in the dual sport section to read up on the different models till one strikes your fancy. Just ask about the dealer before you buy. There are a couple you will want to avoid. We'll steer you in the right direction.

Welcome aboard..... Sounds like a CB is exactly what you need!

360powersports has em for $1045

I would avoid 360powersports and TXpowersports. Same owner. Be sure to read the fine print before you buy from them. It pretty much states they can send you whatever they want and too bad if it's damaged. :ohno: Some have bought from them and had no issues but the ones that did pretty much got screwed over.
Q9powersports has them and few have bought from them with no issues. $1320 including shipping. https://q9powersportsusa.com/product...uro-motorcycle Superiorpowersports is another for abut the same price. https://www.superiorpowersports.com/...250mc-tbr7.htm |
Q9 and Superior both out. Took a chance and ordered from Birdy's. Hope I'm not screwed.

If you decide on the TAO TBR7, as I did, be sure you order the 2019 version with the rear disk brake. The 2019 comes in both, the drum rear, and the disk rear. The one with the Disk rear is the latest manufacture.
I purchased from TXpowersports without any problem. I paid a little over $160 for them to uncrate it and put it together and test it. I found out after the fact that the TBR7 comes from China almost assembled, except for the front wheel and the handlebars. I wish now I would have saved the assembling fee and had them ship with in the factory crate. TXpowersports and 360powersports and one other are all under one ownership. I had no problem except they failed to include my mirrors. When I told them about the oversite, they immediately shipped the mirrors to me at their expense. My dealing was satisfactory. |
