Hello everyone. I am new here and just sold my Suzuki GS500F and am using the funds to purchase a Chinese X22R 250 or better known by Dong Fang 250RTS model sport bike. I am very excited to get back into riding as the Suzuki was too much for me hence the sale and the down payment on the X22R.
I look forward to learning from this forum about my ride as well as other Chinese model sport bikes. Thank you!! |

Welcome to the forum. It's good that you can admit to yourself that the GS500F was a bit too much for you to get started. I think you will like the little X22R, even if it will seem a bit slow by comparison. Small bikes are a great way to learn how to ride and hone your skills without having to worry about putting down too much power or going way too fast.
I will say this, once you gain some confidence and are looking to upgrade to a bigger bike, keep the X22R around. You would be amazed at how much fun a small engine bike can be, even with its lack of power/speed. |
Another bike you may want to consider is the Lifan KPR200, It is water cooled, Fuel injected with a 6 speed transmission and is capable of 75+ mph for a few hundred more but you will be getting a lot more bike for the money. http://shopapmc.com/New-American-Lif...line_p_58.html
