A Burger
It's not too often these days that I treat myself to one of these delectable sandwiches but Saturday, I got on the RX3 and headed down the hill to our little Volcano General Store. I'm not sure of the exact history of the place but I think in its original version, (probably prior to many burn-downs), was built somewhere around the 1860's, like much of the town.
Long story short, the lady who runs the store makes a mean burger. Local beef, done just the way a burger should be done, grilled inside a rock oven built from local rock that you can see standing just on the other side of her. Yum... Hungry now? |
Looks great .

looks great. we had local store that did burgers too. no longer after changed hands. funny you mention burn downs, seems to be recurring theme with the restaurant grease fires around here
that really have the tavern look and feel. thanks for posting |
The only thing that would make that pic better for me would be a local IPA.

Good to know. I thought you may have has a Dr. Seuss type malfunction in your refrigerator ;-)

It's truly an awesome thing ! It can be adjusted more precise than your electric stove ,it can sear at 800 and smoke right down at near zero degrees ,my son likes to cook good food and he made me get it for him last fall .
