Hey, y'all..check this out:
https://www.royalenfield.com/in/en/m...cles/scram411/ I'd get this over the Himalayan any day. |
I like.

The Scrambler version does look nice. Depends on what you need, Scrambler vs normal Himalayan.

It's a cool looking unit, but I just can't do it, like all of the RE's. I like the idea RE is building bikes. I wish them the best, but they have a serious issue in my mind.
A bike that's over 400 pounds, over 400cc's, that doesn't even put out 25hp, and costs just south of 5 grand, doesn't check one box for me. I have yet to see the novelty in these, besides just being "something different". I do hear they are quite reliable though. Other than that, it is a cool looking bike (so it does check one box?). I'm happy to see some of the late 60's-early 70's styles come back into fashion. |
Does not look to be available in the states...

I like the 650 as well. why do the 411 motor when you can go bigger. |

I like the Himalayan. MSRP for a 2022 is $5300. I contacted my local dealer and after dealer fees and destination charge, it's over $6k. I can't really justify that much for any bike, since they're basically just toys. |

The 650 with 47 hp is enough for highway use, and I love the old-school Britishness of it. |
