Howdy. Here for quian/maxfine mxf150-4n
I'm Rick. I live in tacoma washington.
Just got a china bike. Maxfine mxf150-4n. I'll get a pic after work today. The main wire harness is super duper butchered. I was wondering if there's a manual somewhere I can buy or download, and if there's parts somewhere I can buy, or a comparable model (that it's a copy of?) that I can use parts from. Or Am I supposed to ask elsewhere? Any help is appreciated. |
Hi Rick! Welcome. I'm just a couple hours North of you, across the border from Sumas.
Butchered harnesses are a nuisance, for sure. Is there any opportunity to repair it? If so, we might be able to guide you, but a pic of the bike would be a good start. When you have the pic, please start a new thread in the appropriate forum. I'm not sure if your bike is a dirt bike or dual sport, so you'll need to determine which of those sections are most relevant. |
Welcome. Have not seen a maxfine for awhile. They were some of the early china bikes. 150cc models came before the 200cc bikes.

As such, I think you'd have to call it a dualsport. The harness is BAD. non running bad. Missing large parts of the main loom. I'll post up pics tonight. |
Welcome; we are glad you joined us. :hi:

Welcome...you did join here (I said 'hi' on mychinamoto). Long time since anyone posted anything about Maxfine! Brings back memories of ebay (they were sold there as were alot of new Chinese bikes) and chinariders.net from mid-2000s!

Yeah it's a 2004. There's not a lot of info out there....

Wow, an OHC motor! I figured for sure it would be a pushrod mill.
Cool bike. Beware the battery box falling off; Loctite is your friend. |
