Baja Motorsports Wilderness Trail 250
Well as i mentioned in my Gio X33 thread i traded the bike off for two ATVs...this is one of them. I am not exactly sure what year it is yet as i wasn't able to get a look at the vin. As you can see in the pics its kinda chilling in the bush.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...909_190731.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...909_190722.jpg I did find out it has a winch on it and i was informed that it did run and was a recovery after some kids took it out joyriding by hotwiring it. So i will need to do some repair work to the harness and will most likely end up installing a universal key switch or see if i can order a stock replacement. General plan for this one is to get it running for the fiancee and most likely fitting it with a carrying case on the rear rack for certain. |
I'm not sure what the 250 was copied from, but the 400 Baja was a dead ringer for a Yamaha Bruin.
Looking forward to following your progress on this. |

Cool! I found a link to a manual for it: http://www.thequadconnection.com/yam...manual-yfm250/

I was able to compare a Bruin and a Baja 400 next to each other, and the only differences I found were the number of headlights, the colour and what I presume to be a low oil pressure switch. Everything else was identical. I presume that the 250 will be nearly identical to the Beartracker.

Did you make any progress with this quad? Still have it?
