Assuming float height is set correctly, the next thing I would check for is that you don't have a vacuum leak. That would play hell with all of the mixture settings. Also, what mods, if any on the bike? |
Dan correct me if I'm out of touch but my hawk was shipped with tight valves and that needs ro be checked first, right?

I have two hawks both run 40 / 110 , two turns and two washers . maybe a little lean . ive had this tbr7 for a month ,still doesn't run.
it can with a broken primary jet. had to buy a new carb . |
Ok I checked the float level .good. sprayed it down , no vac leak. The only mod is cat removed. Ok 45 / 110 jets ,third slot on needle . will not run in the middle ..:hmm:

Ok im going with 40 /110 adjust the needle up to the forth slot . Starting there again. I took the carb all apart and cleaned .Hope this works :D
