You call it the El Cheapo china bike, but compared to it's close relatives - The Hawk and Enforcer, it's a great machine out of the box. Cheapo is very relative lol.

Thanks for the vid. The TT250 is the only streetable Hondoid CB we can buy here in CA. Like all Hondoids, it's a very durable bike and should last you a long time. Many here have beat the snot out of the CG motor and have had no issues regarding longevity.

How did you take the tank stickers off ? I thought they were clear coated over.

Heat gun worked really nice on my Storm and there is a definite ridge left from the clear coat im guessing.

My neighbor took his off and yes, you can see where the TT used to be because the clear coat is gone.

Thanks 2LZ, that’s what I was afraid of. There’s a you tube of a guy removing Honda Shadow tank decals. But Honda clear coats the tank and then adds the sticker and then clear coat it again so when the sticker is removed it just took some 2000 grit sandpaper and then some compounding to smooth everything out. Bummer about the TT.

I have no clue if the sticker is stuck between separate coats of clear coat. May want to check with CSC.

What I did think of doing at one time was mask the tank off and shoot the TT black....or use some black shelf paper. I just got lucky because the wife likes the orange TT. Problem solved! Personally, I don't mind it. Adds a little flavor.

Perhaps Plasti-dip is an option. If you don't like it, just peel it off.
