Video of my Hawk (30mm Mikuni, 17t)

Thought id share a video of my Hawk. Just messing around in the backyard.

I figured it would be helpful for some to see the potential in the bike. :) Mine was a dog compared to what it is now. Even with the 17t front sprocket it has a lot of torque!

(All power wheelies, no clutch ups!) ;)

Good vid! How much street time are you getting with it?

Thanks! Quite a bit, put about 120 street miles, and about 20 off road miles on it a week. Lots of fun at construction sites! :D

What jets do you have in the Mikuni? :)

Thanks for posting the nice video. :)

That is a lot of grass to cut. ;)

Im not set on these, but I have a 20 pilot and 115 main. I think I need to go to a 25 pilot and 110 main though. Everything but the idle is good when its cool outside, but when it warms up it seems sluggish comparatively.

The 30 pilot seemed too rich, as I couldn't get it to idle properly. Im hoping the 25 will solve my problems. :)

Thanks spud!

Haha yes it is, we usually have 2 mowers going at the same time to try and cut down on time.

Apparently my idea of just tearing up the backyard with the hawk to keep the grass under control isnt a good idea. :hmm: :lmao:

We did! The horses have passed on, now its just to keep the neighbors at bay.

As Robert Frost wrote, "Good fences make good neighbors." ;)

LOL mine are pure blood mustangs and the Stallions are better than pit bulls at patrolling their territories. You do Not want to see what's left of a band of coyotes who try to munch down on a foal...Had a Big old boar canadian black bear some years ago who settled down on the very south end of the ranch. Gone now, ( I think old age) but to my knowledge, he approached the lower herd just once in over ten years and met the stud, "Titan" ,and tho i later saw him and/or tracks, every now and then, never again within eyesight of that herd:)
