Bs290gy9 Bashan where can I buy a front fender

Hey guys, I took my first spill last weekend in some wet grass. My front fender broke off..is there any website or any place I can but replacement parts/fenders? Thank you

eBay of course. I'd be thinking of a generic Acerbis/Maier/Polysport replacement if you find one you like.

Some Chinese plastic is very brittle and easy to snap. They glue together well though if that works. I used epoxy and a reinforcing patch of fiberglass on the back side.

Hey cole, my tank plastic split right down the middle near the center seam I used gorilla glue and did a reasonable job. Doubtful it will work for a fender you need the more pliable plastic.Attachment 5717

Ok BlackBike, you meant the tank cover. I thought you had a plastic tank that split, which kinda freaked me out. Nice job on the repair.

High speed flexing the air intake plastic maybe. Dropped a couple so stress happens. Expected w theshitty covers.

I need a black fender. I have been looking everywhere and can't find one. I might have to really try and repair it somehow

Well who knows how long my fix will last . Interesting it happened to your unit as well.

Also I was thinking about something like this to embed in the urethane glue to help strengthen the patch http://www.tcpglobal.com/SEM-70007_5...Q#.VzS9dWhOnxA or a cheaper alternative http://www.homedepot.com/p/BOEN-6-in...Q&gclsrc=aw.ds

By the way, maybe look into a front fender from Honda or other jap manufacturer and adapt it to work. I'm sure it would be mucho Dinero but it would be durable.

You can also use universal fenders.

How about a very thin coat of fiberglass? The drywall mesh would be more flexible I would think. I know it's pretty durable stuff.
