Hi from the Netherlands - Orion Apollo RX 250, with some mods -

Hi there,

A small :hi: from the Netherlands!

I drive a slightly modified GSXR Srad and just have bought an Apollo (Orion) RX 250.

Mods so far (and not shown on the pictures, I will take some new pictures soon! )
-Mikuni clone VM26 (with jetsize 115 and 30)
-Cat removed full stainless exhaust
-520 chain
-52T CRF rear sprocket
-13T CB 250 front sprocket
-Acerbis fork socks
-Race CDI
-ditched the watercooled engine and mounted an aircooled engine

And now it's a real offroad beast! :yay:

Nice pair of bikes. Nice job on the SRAD. I don't see too many of those running around my neck of the woods these days. I am digging that leather tank cover.

I used to see videos from Europe of the street-legal Apollos with the 17/17 wheel setup; I like the knobby tire setup you have, and obviously as shown in your photo better for the dirt!

They only sell off-road versions of the Apollo in N. America (I am including Canada which I believe have this bike), which is a shame, but those who buy them for mild off-roading love their bikes.

Slightly?! Do you plan on modifying it "heavily" :D :D :D

Here you can have both; 17/17 supermoto or with knobbies! :) I live in the South East of the Netherlands, with lots of sandy roads and forrests. So for me it was an easy choise!

I never really looked at the Apollo because it's not street legal here but I must say the angles on that bike look great! I wish we had that option now.

Hoi Chineeske.
Groetjes Jesse.

Nice bikes, I'm curious why you ditched the water cooled engine so soon. We're there no air cooled options like the Hawk or a similar bike available? Do you have any plans for your water cooled engine?
