Is this the same fork brace??
From what I have gathered, a fork brace is very worthwhile for the Chinese enduro bikes that have the standard forks( or as Dan jokingly calls them "Spaghetti forks". I was going to try to make one from UBolts, but I would rather buy one, and then modify it to work on my TBR7. I have saw a couple threads were members have did so. Is this the fork brace that I need ?? Do you know what size, and length bolts I will need to bolt it to my forks ? Thanks.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07H1...KFTGIGP7&psc=1

These are what will work. They are hard to find in stock. I got lucky and snatched one up when one came available. Call to make sure they are in stock before ordering. http://store.wpsracing.com/ulfobr.html

Thanks,, I just placed an order. I didn't call, but I would think that they would not have took my order, if they didn't have one. I probably should have left them instructions to substitute it for one of the other fancier styles if they did have the plain one that I ordered. I now have all my stuff to do my motor, except the cam, which was in New Jersey as of yesterday. I should be getting it soon. We have been still getting some days to ride, but here pretty soon it will be over till mid February. I notice from one of your videos, that on the Hawk you own, you have dual coolers under your tank fairings. Did you do a write up here on ChondaRiders, or do you have a link for the dual coolers? Thanks |
I received an Email informing me that the brace I ordered is sold out, and discontinued. I responded by asking if any of the styles were available, but I have a feeling that they are all gone. I doy know why my order went through this morning. I may end up having to make one yet.

These are the most inexpensive narrow wide glide braces I can find.
https://www.amazon.com/HIYOYO-Motorc...8RN59XR6&psc=1 Just be aware that some tweaking may be required in order to get a proper fitment. I have one similar to the style in the WPS site that was linked and I had to give it a little pinch in a vice in order to keep it from pushing out on my forks so hard it caused them to bind up. In the brace that I linked I have a feeling that you would need to remove/straighten the bends on the bottom of each leg as well. None of these will be perfect because they just simply weren't made for these bikes specifically. |
