If you have a Gio beast 200
Check the rear brake line.
We had a brake failure on Friday, and it looked like a brake line blew. Looking at our 2 machines tonight I found 2 things. Unit 1 has a small bracket to hold the line to the swingarm, and unit 2 does not. Both have the spiral wire wrap on the line for protection, but unit 2's brake line was installed upside down from the factory, and the wrap is at the top where its not needed. No bracket, and no protective wrap on the bottom, the line wore away in a month, and blew while we were out on a ride. |
If this is happening on the 200cc, I would expect it's possible on other models as well, so good to check all, wouldn't you say?
Thanks for sharing the tip/headsup! |

The brake line rubbed on the rotor, and wore a hole in it. |
