Just got an email from Zstar, and the part has actually come in. Thanks for all the help and advice! Looks like I'll get it going after all, without having to substitute parts.

I do agree that it looks like the gear on the clutch assembly is the same as what I'm looking for, but as you can see by the pic I posted the starter clutch assembly has it's own dogs internally. So...

Nope
That is the actual clutch. Gio has a starter clutch assembly listed, but not sure if it'll work on not. That's a lot of $$$ to put out without knowing if it fits the same.

I agree with the other's that you should look...
