I have been running mine pretty tight, about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch of slack with out issues. I typically need to tighten it up after every 5 runs or so.

Jerry, Keep in mind when you purchase the 10GA Extension cable you cut it in half, so you actually wind up with two connectors. I purchased two extension cables for 4 terminations.
