A cg250 will fit into a cg125 without issue. Assuming the lower crankcase profile is the same it should bolt up using the same front engine bracket.

I’ve had several CG bikes from a 150 to a 300 and the difference in power is negotiable. The OHC engines rev higher and produce a little more HP but again not much of a difference in top speed runs....
