I tried pushing it out with the screwdriver but...
I tried pushing it out with the screwdriver but no luck. :/ I already got the shifting lever out though. I need to get a lock not remover and a gear holder so I can take the clutch off to get to it...

That would be sweet. Thanks to everyone that's helped. I just saw these posts after I had already taken the video showing the shifter and I wasn't sure about having to set it on the stand to get it...

Yes I adjusted the clutch and it wasn't pulling anymore. As soon as I tried to ride it without it hitting anything then that's when it slipped out of gear completely. I'll go ahead and pull the cover...
