No it shouldn't be a very big deal, the flange for the cv will slide off the splines once the set screw is removed...

well I warped out the keyways on the shafting a couple weeks ago, and have since put together and machined a new shaft design.

haha sorry guys! there is still a bit of work to be done, the honda rancher drivetrain isn't holding up to the power so it is currently being switched to chevrolet IFS components
