No, but I would recommend you getting some spacers. That will push the exhaust flange up against the cylinder head. Also make sure you have an exhaust gasket. I didn't have one on mine, so I had to...

I started taking the sides and seat off, but couldn't figure out how to get the air cleaner out. Has anyone here done it?
