Pretty easy to adjust valves. Remove seat and storage bucket, remove black plastic piece in front of engine, remove valve cover. Intake valve is easy to reach, exhaust isn't too bad.

If you remove the lower shock bolt and swing it out of the way you can lift the rear wheel which will swing the engine toward the rear. That gives you almost enough clearance to remove the belt...

Probably will get about 3500 miles out of the original rear tire, it's getting kind of thin. Bought a Michelin City Grip II from Amazon for about $70 in the original 90/90-14 size. Made in Serbia!
