The GW250 is several hundred cheaper, uses the same engine and has better ergonomics. Neither come with luggage and you have to take them to the dealer for service to maintain the warranty.

Tubeless rims.

Notice that the rim in the linked picture has a safety bead/ridge to hold the tire bead in place. I don't know that your rim has those.

Could that also be contributed to the fact that the carb models seem to be sold in regions where a 250 is considered a large bike? In quite a few countries 125cc is a common size.

Ron, keep it mind it is a 250 and with all the gear a bit heavy, at that. At most I weigh 150 and mine happily runs past redline in 6th on the freeway so I have to watch the tach and back off....

The 300 would make it more appealing to the USA market, Tony. For a global market 250 will make more sense because many countries have displacement tiered license and tax systems.
