You can also extend the life of a paper filter by vacuuming it with the crevice attachment to get between the pleats. Did that to my car's engine and cabin air filters and they look almost new.

You can also add preload to the fork springs with a couple of short pieces of PVC. Never done this, so you will have to research ti yourself. Heavier fork oil will help too.

Mine has a 14 tooth front with the stock 108-link chain. Only 100 miles on the chain, so it hasn't even stretched much. I ordered a new O-ring chain, also 108 link, and have a 39 tooth sprocket still...
