well what i found was a paper gasket on the head that wasn't positioned properly and was overlapping the area . does it need the paper gasket?





the plastic spacer between the carb and the intake is a great match so that is still a go



and i am going to replace both the o-rings as the one that goes between the intake and the head has a squashed spot.



so might as well replace the one on the carb as well while i have it all apart.
