About 2 hours ago the Hanjin Germany was located due south of Mednyi Island, Kamchatka. The last two islands of the Aleutian chain belong to Russia, and Mednyi Island is the easternmost of those two islands. Here are some photographs from the island.

The Hanjin Germany is sailing east at 11.5 knots, and is approaching the International Date Line, and Attu Island, Alaska.

The last recorded location of the Germany was:
