I got three of the reusable oil filters. That way I usually have a clean oil filter available when I change the oil. When the last clean filter goes into the bike, I clean the other two at the same time. 
I also bought 4 of the oil strainers, for the same reason. However, the oil strainers are very easy to clean. |
I figure when I change oil, I'll clean the filter in my parts washer, dry it with the compressor and put it back in.
