I removed my fuel tank two days ago when I checked, and adjusted my valve lash. I have about 8,250 miles on the odometer, but I didn't have any paint fading where the saddle covers the fuel tank. I believe the very top of the fuel tank might be fading a little lighter in color, but it is
not very pronounced.
I think it might be prudent for some of us to purchase some clear coat, spray paint with ultraviolet protection.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
