Incidentally, these work lights will also do an excellent job illuminating a camping area for pitching a tent in the dark, et cetera.
The A1 auxiliary line is connected to the ignition switch, so these lights automatically extinguish when the ignition key is turned off. In addition, the lights are switched on/off by the auxiliary power switch on the right side of the handlebars, so I turn them off when starting the motorcycle. However, I plan to run the lights at all times, since they also greatly increase visibility of the bike during daylight hours.
