Forum member AtomicWedgie had a Silverwing 600, and it was a pleasure to ride. It cornered really well, and it had a nice low CG. It would cruise comfortably on the highway all day long.

A similar sized sport bike doesn't have any storage, unless you start adding tank bags, etc. I realize that a sport bike is built for a different purpose, but they're certainly far from utilitarian. A DS can be fitted with a trunk and panniers, but a maxi scooter is designed for cargo right out of the box. It just depends on what your needs are.
