The angle of the key is only possible in two ways.
1.you were riding off road and had the misfortune of running over the key in the dirt.

2.someone propped it up under your knob to send you a message.

If it's your rear tire, I would bet on the 2nd one as a sure thing.
That's what I was thinking, because what are the odds the key would be lined up just right like that? Anything is possible, but. . .
