From what I've heard SuperTech oil comes from different manufacturers depending on location. Walmart carries a book showing the manufacturers of all their house brand stuff. Last I checked, been a few years, their oil was Quaker State and the filters were Champion labs. My walmart stopped having SuperTech filters a few years ago, I was bummed. I assume they've stopped all together and it's not just my local store.
I've run lots of bikes on 15-40 from my old air cooled turbo bike to modern sport bikes. My '97 CBR1100XX with it's 9 plate clutch got a little notchy shifting once warm, but the later 7 plate bikes do fine.
