I personally wouldn't give up the horsepower to run an o-ring chain. I reccomend Unibear chain. If kept clean and lubricated, it will last a long time. (Years)
I think he will give up more horsepower with the tall gearing than any oring chain will cause. ive never noticed any difference between oring or non oring chains as far as power is concerned.

never heard of a unibear chain ill have to check that out. almost any chain will be much better than the stock.

I never put a mile on the stock chain and when i hold it up let it slump to the side its worse than any chain ive seen.
