Flat black spray works great on the lights as well. Just keep dusting them with paint until you achieve the darkness you want. They key is to dust the lights, not actually spray them.

I had actually thought about that and wondered if anyone had tried it. It would certainly be worth a shot. All else fails and you can take it off i suppose. Great idea.
