From the looks of the above pic it looks like the plug hex hole is tapered and the allen wrench tool is not able to go clear to the bottom of the hex hole. So it can't get a good 100% bite on the plug. Maybe go to a pawn shop and by the correct size allen wrench for .50 cents and grind a bit of taper and radius the end so it can sit down all the way into the plug hex hole ????? rj
