After I put everything back together I went out a took a little 78 mile ride and still working.
I forgot to mention that the clutch diode had stop working after I had replace the sending unit on the gas tank. The one that came on the bike had stop working the 1st trip I had made with the bike. I may have smashed a wire or something in the process that may have shorted the diode. who knows? Good news is now I have a working fuel gauge and I'm not guessing if I have it in neutral or not before I release the clutch.
