What type of riding are you looking to do? Lots of choices out there and anything labeled motorcycle or ADV gets pricy.

For everyday riding to work, around town, etc. I have these http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/i...erduty-4-boots
Good ankle protection but overall very comfortable boot to wear and walk around. Look good with jeans or khakis. They are not insulated or water proof.

For Adv, Dirt, Touring, I have these. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/s...gore-tex-boots but bought them from here http://www.biker-land.de/en/Motorcyc...Tex-boots.html. Same boot, much cheaper (German site but did not issues with shipping, payment, etc.) Great boot for all day touring, trail riding, etc. Euro sized but fit pretty true to size.

Are the worth the $$$?... Weigh the price of boots vs. ankle surgery.
