Try hitting the unlock button on the remote with the ignition off. Then switch the ignition on and try again. My little boys Tao is weird like that. If I kill it with the remote, I have to press the unlock button then cycle the ignition key. As soon as he gets a little more time under his belt that whole system is coming off.
