It looks as though CSCDude will have to reschedule the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway, HWY 1) from Cambria to Carmel, ride this spring or summer.
According to CalTrans Hwy 1 is closed from Ragged Point, North due to a rock/mud slide, and at Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge due to cracked and misaligned bridge pillars and a sagging and cracked road surface.
CalTrans estimates a 9 to 10 month closing to demolish and replace the damaged bridge.
So maybe another destination can be found.
