I broke my speedo cable,, priced one out and promptly bought the cluster instead.
I forget the actual price of the replacement cable but it was enough that I convinced myself to spend a bit more and replace the whole deal.
When I got it, I pulled the front wheel and found the speedo gear stripped as well, so I would have bought a cable and it wouldn't have worked..
That would have sucked.
