Plus when I had my bike there is had the tourfella base racks on and he would have wanted to see the stock racks for the plastic luggage so make them work with them. If someone had already purchased the tourfella kit it would make sense to also get the solobox ones. That is what Eric also said to me. But I really like my tourfella setup and the price includes the 3 boxes and the base racks. The mounting hoops are the standard shape and size that many boxes use also which made it easy to get soft bags with Touratech pucks for quick on/off. CSC has them on sale with free shipping.
