I think the same thing. I can't tell you how many people will walk right out into traffic without taking their eyes off the cell phone in their hand. On the one hand, I get it, pedestrians are supposed to have the right of way and traffic is supposed to stop for them. On the other hand, how much consolation is having the right of way going to be to that distracted pedestrian or their family when they get run over by a similarly distracted driver? People are so hung up on their 'Right' to drive, that they don't take it seriously. Ask any high school kid with a beat up, ragged out Honda about their driving skills and how stupid speed limits are for 'free spirits' like him and you'll quickly see what I mean...
