The bike does come with a kick start, but the issues is electrical.
Also, if the battery is bad it could cause damage to the electrical system (stator).

Thanks everyone. Guess I will wait until Friday when the new battery gets here. I said before that I had a bad time with the battery on the Enfotcer and was disappointed when I saw this bike came with the same one. I should have ordered a new battery earlier but I figured the stock battery would be good enough to start it...given my past experience, I never intended to ride with it.
