As a minimum you better carry a pump. In most cases, the puncture is not big and the tyre does not deflate instantly, so if you inflate it to say 30psi it can give you an hour of riding. Or at least 30 minutes. Then you pump it again, and again, and again
until you get home/truck/trailer etc.
