Generally I would suggest thinking about the valve adj tool set - makes that much easier and perhaps the Carb tune kit and sprocket set and if you struggle to adj the air screw there is also the right tool for that job.
There's a good chance some of these sets/tools will make maintaining your bike just that much easier.

Will do. This is a pic of the carb that is in place right now. To me it seems perfect with the choke off but It will not idle when cold with the choke on.
