Could be a bashan or something else, the point is. That that motorcycle just like the klx 230 among other "japanese" low cc bikes are mostly chinese and overpriced, because they have sticker that says honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki.
So you have a Japanese company, that request a motorcycle in china, then they send it to one of their assemblers either in Argentina or Brazil and then they charge 2.5 to 3 times the prices of a bike that's 90% the same because it says Honda or Yamaha.
The quality of those is just a notch above a plain chinese motorcycle, nothing that cannot be upgrade or checked with just a few bucks.
With the KLX 230 same history but i guess it is assambled in India.
