And don't believe for a second the combustion powered RCs are the only ones that are money pits. My last 2 are electric and very expensive. I turned my Traxxas Stampede into a stadium truck for the low low price of $2500 (would've been more cost effective to just buy a stadium truck), and I've got $1500 in my Axial crawler.
My latest acquisition is a low dollar 4x4 that's very similar to the stock Stampede, right down to the tires and wheels. But hopefully I can refrain from spending money on it..
