I have been searching for a smaller rear sprocket for my Magician also. Can't find one. My solution is to get a JT sprocket P/N JTR269.40, and then using my original sprocket for a hole pattern, drill six mounting holes, and use spacers between the sprocket and the hub. By my rough calculations, the 40 tooth will work. Also, the center hole on the JT sprocket is larger than the one on the original, so it will not be a factor. Not a perfect solution, but for my riding style at my age should work just fine.

At 78 years old, still enjoying motorcycles.
